Nervous about going to the dentist?
I completely understand this normal reaction to having someone in your personal space doing work on a very sensitive area. With that in mind, we work diligently to put you at ease! We have small comforts like blankets, pillows, headphones, coffee and tea. We also offer nitrous oxide, commonly called laughing gas, which can ease patients into dental work. It makes people feel relaxed and less anxious.
My mission to make you feel more comfortable starts with our communication. I will always talk you through everything we’re doing, so you know what to expect during your procedure. My assistants and I are very aware of your body language and will be watching carefully for any signs that you are uncomfortable.
Research shows that people who fear dental visits often have poor dental health because they avoid doing necessary dental work. This makes sense, but I don’t want fear to be a barrier to you receiving the best possible dental care! If you have avoided the dentist because of anxiety or fear, give us a chance to care for you and put you at ease!
